After 6 years of anticipation, Taipingshan's Forest Railway, now also named the Bong Bong Train, has finally reopened! The adorable name comes from the rhythmic "bong bong" sounds that the train makes as it slowly brings you on a magical tour on the Taipingshan forests. The Bong Bong Train takes 20 minutes from the Taipingshan Station to Maosing Station, where you can then explore the various scenic hiking trails and gardens. This tour also brings you to the Jiuzhize Hot Springs, a popular open-air hot spring that rejuvenates your mind and body.
